| Bio: | STATUS: I am a college graduate from the University of Florida. Got my degree in Telecommunications with a minor in English, Film Studies. In May 2003, I finished my graduate degree program at the University of South Florida for a Master's degree in English Education. I have now just finished my first year of teaching at Pasco High School where I taught 10th and 11th English. It was an awesome year. I am looking forward to the coming year where I will have 10th, 11th and 12th. I will be coaching girls' golf (YEA), working as Senior Project coordinator and doing student council. I am quite excited. I am currently at the Tampa Bay Area Writing Project, which is a five-week intensive writing workshop for teachers. It's been only a couple days, but it's awesome. ADAM: The love of my life! Adam and I met in Feb of '02 and I knew on our second date that he was "the one." We were engaged May 19th '02 and married October 19th '02. We bought a house in Zephyrhills in April '03, close to the middle school he teaches at and close to my high school. He has a cat, Lucy, who is just the sweetest thing. I love our new family unit and can't wait to get settled all together in our new house. Missy (our Aussie) got a new sister in January '04! Her name is Sandy and she is an Aussie as well, but slightly mixed with Spaniel. FAMILY: My parental units ROCK and I take up any opportunity I have to spend time with them! My older sister, Jessica, is about five years older and married Bill Phillips. They just bought a house near my parents house, so that was pretty kool! My older brother, Dan, about three years older is still living in Gainesville. I consider him a professional cyclist, but he's still a category one racer. Races both road and track, but excels more on the track. Currently he is racing for Trek/Volkswagen and still coaching Team Florida. FRIENDS: My best friend is Jessica Helton, who is a pilot and lives in Atlanta. She does something with flight testing, but I'm not sure what. I don't get to see her all too often, but she is definitely one of my great inspirations. Friends come and go for me, as in closeness in both relationship and proximity. MUSIC: I love the Bare Naked Ladies, they are da bomb in concert no doubt! I love music, but highly uneducated about the subject. I've been hooked on Rent lately, as well as Moulin Rouge. Big on soundtracks! FAITH: I attempt to live every moment for God. I know Jesus as the friend that ROCKS my world the most and will tell you as often as I can of all the wonderful things he works in my life. It'll blow your mind...at least it does me. WRITING: I love to write. Anything and everything. I've written a full length screenplay for a feature film, titled 'The Pursuit' and am working on my second, titled 'P.U.S.H.'. I have many ideas for a few novels, a bunch of short stories, poems and of course more screenplays. I keep a lot of journals. As of now, I have my own personal one, a creative writing journal, a teacher journal, a dream journal, as well as one for a friend. I only wish I had more time to devote to my writing.
